JAMMU, Dec 11: The students of KNIT Green Model Academy (GMA) won galaxy of medals in the recently held State Level Karate Championship, organized by Indo Oman Shotokan Karate-Do Association of India at Kathua.
The medal winners in the Championship included Harsh Dev, Viney Pratap, Shruti, Aditya and Ashish (all gold); Upasana, Arun Singh, Ambika and Sadhvi Chib (all silver); Khushi, Sushant, Kanav, Aman Kumar, Vanshit, Paras Kodhi, Siya, Tushar Bhat and Diksha (all bronze).
Teachers Babli Gupta and Sunita Gupta escorted the students as in-charges.
The School organized a prize distribution function to honour the medal winners, wherein School chairman, J L Kotwal was the chief guest, while School Director, Simla Baloria was the guest of honour.
The chief guest distributed prizes among the winners and thanked Ravinder Singh (technical director), Bhanu Pratap Singh (tournament director) and Saif Ali (organizer) for their contribution.
