SRINAGAR, May 2: Al-Jamal and Kashmir Lions win after tough fight given by the rivals in fifth day matches of ongoing Kashmir Narbal Premier League (KNPL).
In the first match of the day, Al-Jamal was against Ghat Warriors at Narbal cricket ground here.
Al-Jamal won the toss and elected to bat first. The team put 184 runs on board in allotted 20 overs. Lateef Ahmad with 85 runs was the notable scorer for Al-Jamal.
In reply, the Ghar Warriors could not achieve the required target and loss the close tackle with only 1 run. The highest scorer Adil Bina with brilliant 99 runs could not help his team to win the game.
In second match of the day, Prime Spartans was against Kashmir Lions Narbal.
Prime Spartans won the toss and elected to bat first. The team was restricted by Kashmir Lions bowlers on 140 runs. The highest scorer for them was Skipper Salam with 28 runs. For Kashmir Lions, Nazir Tiger and Muzamil Rashid took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Kashmir Lions finished the game with style in 16th over and won the match by 5 wickets. Nazir Tiger was highest scorer with quick 54 runs and was adjudged as man of the match.
