JAMMU, June 15: Kongposh-11 beat Sharda-11 by 4 runs and reached the quarter finals in an ongoing KPL Veteran Cup played at KC Sports ground here today.
Batting Ist Kongposh-11 made 160 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Rajesh Khatri, Sanjay and Nitin were notable scorers who made 23, 29 and 22 runs respectively. From bowling side Rajesh, Sunil and Vinod took 2 wickets each.
In reply Sharda-11 made 156 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Rajesh Khatri took 2 important wickets whereas Ravi took 3 wickets. Anil made 54 runs from Sharda-11. Ravi was declared as man of the match.
