JAMMU, Jan 24: Cluster University of Jammu today selected Korfball team for the upcoming ‘All India Inter-University Korfball tournament to be scheduled at Gondwana University, Gadchiroli.
Selection trials of Men and Women were conducted at Dusshera Ground, Gandhi Nagar, here under the department of Dean Students Welfare, Cluster University of Jammu.
The selection trials were conducted by Sardar Manjeet Singh and Rezban Choudhary under the supervision of Irfan Choudhary, Senior Korfball coach, J&K.
Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator Cluster University, Jammu and Physical Director GGM Science College Jammu have graced the occasion.
40 students of constituent colleges of the Cluster University took part in selection trials wherein eight Girls and eight Boys were selected in Korfball team for the upcoming tournament.
Aijaz Malik, Physical Director, SPMR College of Commerce, Dr Roopali Slathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Ramandeep Kralia, Physical Director, Neelam Chalotra Assistant Physical Director, MAM College and Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Science College were present on the ocassion.
