KATHUA, Apr 17: In view of important events and general security situation in the district, SSP Kathua, R. C Kotwal accompanied by Additional SP Kathua, Suresh Kumar Chib today chaired a security review and Crime Index meeting at DPL here with the officers including DySP PC Kathua, DySP Headquarter, Kathua, DySP DAR Kathua, all SDPO’s, SHOs incharge PPs and incharge BPP’s of the district.
During the meeting all the participants have been directed to strengthen the Border Security Grid, NHW Grid and City Grid. Besides, they were also advised to enhance patrolling and strengthen Inter-State nakas. They were also stressed to enhance patrolling/area domination and conduct vehicle checking in their area of responsibility to rule out any subversive activities.
SSP Kathua also reviewed the crime position and overall functioning of the district. He urged that the disposal of cases registered during the current year and previous pendency was also reviewed, discussed and instruction issued.
