JAMMU, Aug 20: Hailing from a small village Salia in South Kashmir, Samay Raina, son of Rajesh Raina won the grand finale of ‘Comicstaan’ Season-2, an Amazon Prime Series along with Akash Gupta at Mumbai, yesterday.
The duo of Samay and Akash won a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh each.
Samay, the Kashmiri Pandit boy, who grew up in Hyderabad after his parents migrated from the Valley in 90’s, was the youngest contestant on the show.
The 21-year-old performed exceptionally well in the finale and got the highest live audience score.
Samay, a student of B.Tech final year is keen to take up comedy as his profession.
‘Comicstaan’ is a very popular series run on Amazon Prime.
