KISHTWAR, Oct 16: Twenty five-day trekking expedition organized in the picturesque Kishtwar district concluded here today. The announcement in this regard was made by SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal
This endeavor was made possible through a productive partnership of Kishtwar Police team comprising of Ct. Kishori Lal and SPO Badrinath, SPO Bal Krishan & SPO Babu Lal with three esteemed foreign trekkers from Switzerland: Nathan Monard, Hugo Beguin, and Matthias Gribi.
The seasoned trekkers ventured into various breathtaking locations, including Soundar, Nanth Nalla, Bharama Peak Base Camp, and Flad Top Bharma Peak. “
On the concluding day, SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal , assured the trekkers of Kishtwar Police’s dedication to facilitating their trekking expeditions. This commitment includes providing essential equipment such as snow shoes, camping tents, and tracking gear. Additionally, the police will organize training sessions to acquaint the trekker with the district’s topography and unique areas.
He also emphasized the importance of sharing experiences with fellow trekkers, a collaborative approach that not only serves as motivation but also spreads awareness of the rich cultural and tourist heritage of Kishtwar district.
Such efforts are expected to bolster the tourism sector in the region, attracting enthusiasts from around the world.
