KPC for settlement of Pandits at single place in Valley

JAMMU, Oct 21: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) while reiterating its demand for rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits at a single place in Valley today said that rehabilitation in clusters and scattered places was not acceptable to the community.
KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri while addressing a meeting of the organization in Union Capital today said that Pandits want return to their mother land but the Government should first discuss the pros and cons of its return formula with the community leadership. He said no return formula was acceptable which will lead the displacement of the community again after some years as return with retention should be the prime objective of the Government.
Kashmiri while terming the accession of J&K with India full and final said that October 26 is a testimony to the fact which is being celebrated as Accession Day all over the country. He said the people of the State have acceded to India by rejecting the two nation theory and there are no two thoughts about the same.
He made an appeal to displaced Pandit community to celebrate the Accession Day in a befitting way.
