JAMMU, Sept 13: Unbeaten 58 runs by Susheetal Dhar helped RSCC Jairaj to register 3 runs win over Bhagwati Vanquishers and APCC Muthi defeated Rising Stars by 40 runs in the ongoing Kashmir Pandit Cricket League (KPCL), organised by Safran CC at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
Batting first, RSCC made 118 runs by losing 9 wickets in stipulated 20 overs wherein Susheetal Dhar scored unbeaten 58 runs, whereas Rajinder and Ajay contributed 14 and 9 runs respectively. For Bhagwati Vanquishers, Arvin Bakshi took 3 wickets and Vaibhav bagged two wickets, while Amrit, Suri and Rahul Koul clinched one wicket each.
In reply, Vanquisher failed to chase the target and made 115 runs by losing 6 wickets in stipulated overs and lost the match by 3 runs. Arvin Bakshi remained not out at 38 runs, while Vaibhav and Vikram contributed 27 and 24 runs. From the bowling side, Sunil Dutt and Susheetal clinched two wickets each.
In another match, APCC Muthi won the match by 40 runs from Rising Stars. Batting first, APCC scored 157 runs with the loss of 8 wickets in which Deepak Koul made 46 runs and Anil Raina contributed 23 runs. From the bowling side, Prabal took 3 wickets, while Rajat secured 2 wickets and Ritik, Pulkit and Karan clinched one wicket.
While chasing the set target, Rising Stars bundled out at 117 runs and lost the match by 40 runs. Ritik Pandita made 29 runs, while Prabal scored 22 runs. From the bowling side, Suriender bagged 4 wickets, while Ricky clinched 3 wickets and Deepak, Mintoo and Chander D took one wicket apiece.
