KPCL Season-4 begins

JAMMU, Oct 21: The Kashmiri Pandit Cricket League (KPCL) Season 4 kicked off with a vibrant inauguration today at the Country Cricket Stadium Jammu, organized by the Safran Cricket Club. The event was graced by chief guest Dr. Arvind Karwani (RRCM) and social activists Satish Khoda and Pami Khoda. This year’s tournament features 12 competing teams.
Dr. Karwani praised the efforts of chief organizer Sarthak Khoda and his team, highlighting the significance of such events in fostering youth development. He encouraged the organizers to expand the tournament to junior levels, emphasizing sports as a promising career path that can instill national pride. He also recognized Vikrant Sharma, Director of CCS, for his commitment to maintaining high ground standards.
The inaugural day showcased four thrilling matches: 777 Masters defeated RSCC, Shailputri triumphed over Shankara, Titans bested Shiva Bhagwati, and Royal Challengers emerged victorious against Alpine Avengers. Match officials included Ajay Peshin, Arun Zalpuri, Rahul Kaul, and Harit, with scoring duties handled by Sonu Zuthshi and Bhavish Pandita.
