KATHUA, July 15: An ultra modern and state of art indoor air rifle and pistol shooting range of KPS Shooting Club was inaugurated today in the premises of Kartar Public School, Barnoti, here.
Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, President of the J&K Rifle Association inaugurated the facility in the presence of Sohan Lal, District President of J&K Rifle Association; Rakesh Sambyal, DySP, (Indoor) PTTI, Vijaypur; Er Nirmaljit Singh AMN, President of the KPS Shooting Club and Rajeev Sharma, General Secretary, KPS Shooting Club.
Speaking on this occasion, Mr Jamwal congratulated the management of KPS Education Trust and KPS Shooting Club for their initiative and gesture.
He assured all help and cooperation from the J&K Rifle Association to the organisers for promoting the sport and encouraging the sportspersons.
He along with other dignitaries informed that it is for the first time in J&K, a free five day basic shooting course is offered at KPS Shooting Range and wished all success to the organizers.
