JAMMU, Feb 21: Krishna Sports Club defeated WCC by a margin of 45 runs to move into the next round of the ongoing KC Sports Club Cricket Cup, being played at KC School ground, here.
Earlier, Krishna Sports Club rode on a masterful knock of 42 runs by Aman and a valuable innings of 39 runs by Love to score a decent total of 168 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. For WCC, Rahul took 2 wickets and Latif claimed one.
In reply, WCC managed to score 123 runs in the allotted 20 overs to lose the match by 45 runs. Sanjay top scored with 22 runs, while Bunty contributed 20 runs to the total. Love Chib of Krishna Sports Club was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant all-round display.
