JAMMU, Nov 6: Younis Kuchey, Wasim Iqbal Abhishek Pathania entered the semifinals of the Senior State Snooker Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
Abhishek beat Vidit Gawri 4-2 by (59-35,55-53,37-50,47-32,
23-59,74-42). Abhishek made a break of 51 in the 6 frame and ensured the match.
Earlier, Younis Kuchay trounced Jaswinder Singh 4-0 by (45-24, 73-3855-21, 60-14), while Wasim Iqbal outplayed Inderpal Singh 4-0 by (52-21, 60-16,50-16, 54-41).
In other matches played today, Vidit Gawri beat Ishuk Choudhary (4-3), Umar Humanyun defeated Kamal Nayar (4-1), Inderpal Singh drubbed Vishal Abrol (4-2) and Younis Kuchay beat Akshay Kumar (4-1).
