JAMMU, Feb 20: Jammu District Football Association (JDFA) elected its office bearers while scrutinising the nominations of the members at Parade Ground, here today.
Though, the election was scheduled to be held on February 24, 2014, yet the members elected the office bearers unopposed today.
S Kuldeep Singh was elected as president of JDFA, while Mohan Lal and Feastus Sotra were elected as District secretary and treasurer respectively.
The nominations were scrutinised by RK Kohli, treasurer JKFA, Dr Nirmolak Singh, vice president, Surinder Singh Bunty, resident secretary, JKFA and SM Gill, direct member JKFA.
On the occasion, new office of JKFA was inaugurated by Zamir Thakur, president JKFA at Parade Ground.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Prof Bashir, member J&K State Sports Council, Peer Suajaudin, Ramesh Chander, Yousuf Don, Rakesh Khanna, Rajesh Sharma, David Burrat, Elija Sotra, Bharat Bhushan, Davinder Kumar, Sardari Lal, Varun Jasrotia, Master Saleem, Peter Sandhu, Mattoo, Moon Stephen, Surjeet Singh and Varinder Gupta.
