Kumhar Sabha demands reservation for OBCs

JAMMU, Aug 11: After J&K has been reorganised into two Union Territories, Prajapati (Kumhar) Sabha has demanded reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) in Government services and educational institutions.
In a press conference here today Sabha president, Madan Lal hailed the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35-A and reorganisation of the State into two Union Territories.
He also said that abrogation of Article 370 will now do justice with Valmikis, West Pakistan Refugees and Gorkhas.
Sabha Vice President, F.C Satia told reporters that process of delimitation of constituencies should now be started so that the regional discrimination with Jammu should come to an end.
Kumhar Sabha also lauded the role of Jugal Kishore Sharma and Dr Jitendra Singh, both MPs from Jammu region for working hard for these historic developments in the history of J&K.
Sabha also hoped that peace and prosperity may visit J&K now.
Jeet Singh Sangotra, Punnu Ram, Vijay Kumar and others were also present on this occasion.
