SAMBA May 26: NPP leader and former Minister Yashpal Kundal today accused the PDP-BJP coalition Government of its total failure in fulfilling the promises made during the elections with the people.
Talking to reporters here , he blamed the State Government for putting the shopkeepers and rehariwallas to unnecessary trouble and harassing them for using the polythene bags instead of banning them in the State by closing the industrial units.
,Kundal said first of all Government should ban polythene industry and those industries which used the polythene bags for packed food. He also blamed the Government for not releasing the funds under MGNREGA Scheme launched by the Central Government for last two years which is quite shameful.
He also raised the issue of Female Multi purpose health workers and demanded release of their salaries at an earliest who have been denied salaries for last one year.
He alleged that BJP- PDP Government gave compensation to the stone pelters of Kashmir and also jobs to the surrendered militants of Kashmir but did not give compensation to the businessmen and transporters of Jammu region who suffered during the Amarnath land row. Kundal also blamed that in last two years the ceasefire violation is increased and casualties are more in numbers but Government failed to stop. He warned the BJP -PDP Government and urged it to take positive steps to solve the issues facing the people as soon as possible otherwise Panthers Party will take to roads and also resort to blockade of National Highway.
Others who were present during the presence conference were Rashmi Kant Khajuria Tehsil president, NPP, Arun Khajuria its block president , Subash Charak president border belt Samba, and Bobby Singh Youth president district Samba.
