Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Tourney

SRINAGAR, Aug 25: In an ongoing Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Tournament at Srinagar, Kupwara hockey team defeated Kulgam by 9-1 in a one-sided contest here today.
The man of the match was Sumit Pal Singh. The tournament has been sponsored by the Indian Army under the aegis of Hockey J&K in collaboration with J&K Sports Council at Hockey Stadium, Polo View, Srinagar.
Javed Anjum, Director Airport was the chief guest on this occasion while Major Indermeet Singh was among the special guests. The match was officiated by Ranjit Singh and Hardeep Singh. The match observer was Charanjit Singh, technical table were Gurjit Singh, Iqbal Singh, Ali Mohd.
