KV-1 Gandhi Nagar celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, May 7: Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1 Gandhi Nagar Jammu celebrated Annual Day Function 2018-19 today with great zeal and enthusiasm at Teachers Bhawan Auditorium, Gandhi Nagar, here.
Sanjeev Verma, Chairman VMC KV-1 Jammu was the chief guest and Sirimala Sambana, Deputy Commissioner KVS Regional Office Jammu was the guest of honour on the occasion.
DP Patel (Assistant Commissioner KVS RO Jammu), Bhushan Kumar, Principal KV 2 Jammu Cantonment, besides prominent personalities and intellectuals graced the occasion with their presence.
Amit Walter, Principal KV No-1, Jammu extended a warm welcome to the chief guest, guest of honour, dignitaries and the parents.
The programme commenced with Saraswati Vandaana.
The Principal presented the Annual Report highlighting achievements of the Vidyalaya.
He emphasized the fact that Vidyalaya was leaving no stone unturned in the service of student community.
This was followed by a colourful scintillating cultural programme presented by the students.
Meritorious students in academics and sports and teachers having good result in board classes were felicitated by the chief guest and guests of honour.
The programme culminated with the vote of thanks followed by National Anthem.
