JAMMU, Nov 17: Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu conducted the Cluster Level CMP Activities Competitions in which 200 children of the Cluster KVs participated.
The Kendriya Vidyalayas which participated in the competitions included KV-Hiranagar, Samba, Miran Sahib, Bantalab, Damana, Sunjuwan, Nagrota, No-1 and No-2, Jammu.
Prof P N Shastri, Principal Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Jammu was the chief guest on this occasion.
Officiating Principal, KV-1 Gandhi Nagar, Romi Amrit presented welcome address and highlighted the need of such activities.
While addressing the participants, the chief guest appreciated the children for coming forward to participate in such programmes with zeal and interest.
Competitions for different activities viz. Group Song, Extempore, English Poem Recitation and Painting were conducted on this occasion.
Awards were given to the winners in these competitions.
In Group Song, 1st position was bagged by K V Sunjuwan, 2nd by K V No-1, Jammu and 3rd position went to K V Bantalab.
In Hindi Extempore, 1st and 2nd position went to K V No-1, Jammu and 3rd position was bagged by K V No-2, Jammu.
In English Poem Recitation, 1st and 2nd position was bagged by K V Bantalab and the 3rd place went to K V No-1, Jammu.
In Painting Competition, Sub Juniors, 1st position was claimed by K V No-2, Jammu, 2nd by K V Miran Sahib and the 3rd position was bagged by K V Hiranagar, while in Juniors, 1st position was secured by K V Sunjuwan, 2nd by K V Damana and 3rd by K V Samba and in Seniors, 1st position was bagged by K V Sunjuwan, 2nd by K V No-1, Jammu and 3rd K V Miran Sahib.
