UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: KV No-1 Udhampur organizes Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm, here today.
Dr R Prasad Principal was chief guest on the occasion.
He was presented a bouquet by senior most teacher, Vikramaditya (PGT Physics).
The students from 1st to XII class participated with full gusto and enthusiasm.
Welcome song and cultural dance was presented by the students.
After oath ceremony by sports captain Sapna Tiwari, pyramid show, surya namaskar and lazium and dumbles shows were displayed.
School Principal, Dr R Prasad, senior most PGT, Vikramaditya and in-charge sports, Rajiv Singh released sports newsletter on the occasion.
Different races including lemon and spoon, sack, three legged, hurdle and relay races were held during the day.
Shweta was winner of musical chair race, while Ravikant was winner of brisk walk.
Teachers along with 12th class students were involved in tug-of-war event.
After prize distribution ceremony vote of thanks was presented by Rajiv Singh.
Shambhu Sharan and Surinder were guests of honour.
The programme was co-ordinated by Sanjay Purohit, Jyotsana, Minakshi Sharma and P K Shukla.
