JAMMU, Nov 15: Kendriya Vidyalaya No-2, Jammu Cantt organized its Annual Sports Day with pomp and show here, today.
The Chairman of the Vidyalaya Committee, Brig Randhir Singh was the chief guest on the occasion, while Kamal Padha, Nominee Chairman was the guest of honour.
Earlier, Principal of the School, Bhushan Kumar presented welcome address.
The Meet began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest alongwith the releasing of the balloons followed by the welcome song and colourful cultural items.
Abhinav of Clss 12th, Abhishek of Class 7th, Rhythem of Class 10th and Harjit of Class 9th emerged as best performers for the institution in different sporting events.
The chief guest while giving prizes to the winners appreciated their efforts.
The Annul Sports Day culminated with the vote of thanks presented by the chief guest, Sushma Jain, Vice Principal of the School.
