KV Domana celebrates Annual Day with pomp and show

JAMMU, May 3: Kendriya Vidyalaya Domana celebrated its Annual Day at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu with great pomp and splendour, here today.
AS Gill, Deputy Commissioner KVS (JR) Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion and CO 13 Garhwal Regiment Col Atul Bhatia Chairman (N) VMC,KV Domana was the guest of honour. Other dignitaries and large number of parents were also present to encourage the children on the occasion.
The function began with lighting of lamp of knowledge and Saraswati Vandana which was followed by the annual report highlighting the achievements of the school presented by the Principal, Sushma Jain.
The students presented Rajasthani, Dogri, Gujrati and Kashmiri dance, besides Hindi Skit which mesmerized the audience on the occasion.
The chief guest gave away prizes to the students for their academic achievements and acknowledged their wonderful performance. Awards for excellence and the all-rounder trophies were given both on the basis of academic and co-curricular activities.
Speaking on the occasion, Col Atul Bhatia and AS Gill, thanked the School Principal, Sushma Jain for enabling them to watch talent of the students.
With vote of thanks and the national anthem, the day ended in a beautiful resonance lingering in everybody’s minds.
