A late quick fire by Manjeet (25* runs) helped KV Masters to 169/3 in stipulated 20 overs. For Tawi Veterans Sanju Gupta and Sham Bakshi (1 wicket each) were the other wicket takers.
In reply, Tawi Veterans were given a flying start by Sanju Gupta (46 runs) and Varun (50 runs) taking advantage of the power play. As the field spread, two quick wickets by Naresh Kumar and Brij Mohan (1 wicket each) stopped the flow of Tawi Veterans. The spin trio of Navjot Singh (3 wickets), Sikander Oberoi (2 wickets) and Sachin Kumar (1) wicket) kept picking up regular wickets supported by good fielding by team with two diving catches by Sunny Kotwal kept the runs under control. Pankaj (38 runs) was the other major contributor for Tawi Veterans as they managed only 162/8 and lost the match by 7 runs. Navjot Singh was declared player of the match for his all round performance.
