JAMMU, Feb 15: PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagrota hosted its Annual Sports Day today, featuring a variety of exciting events. The day began with the welcome of the chief guest, Avinash Mahajan, Vice Principal, APS Nagrota, followed by the lighting of the lamp, a welcome song and the sports pledge.
The event aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork and sportsmanship, offering students a platform to showcase their athletic skills. Enthusiastic participation from students, teachers and parents made the day a grand success. Certificates and medals were presented by the chief guest and guest of honour, Dahiya. Mahajan encouraged students to actively engage in sports for better fitness and a sense of cooperation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Jyoti Kiran (PGT Chemistry) and the national anthem.
