URI, Jan 23: Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri organised a painting competition here today. The event which was organized in accordance with the directives from Ministry of Education, Government of India saw the enthusiastic participation of 100 students from four prominent schools Kendriya Vidyalaya Baramulla, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Shahkote, Government Higher Secondary School Gingle and KAD School Gingle.
The painting competition featured inspiring themes, including “Tips for Exam Warriors” by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, “Chandrayan III” by ISRO, “Sporting Success in India,” and “Developed India.” Additionally, two special themes, namely “Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose” and “Aditya L1 Mission by ISRO,” added depth to the creative expressions.
The chief guest for the event was Pradeep Kumar Ray, head of the NHPC Power Project and Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee of Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri. Ray shared his valuable insights and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of such events in nurturing young talents.
The program was impeccably coordinated by Sunil Kumar, the program convener, program Incharge, and Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri. Kumar expressed his delight in witnessing the creative prowess of the students and highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering a holistic educational environment.
The jury panel, led by Ravikant, TGT Art Education at KV Uri, ensured a fair evaluation of the artworks. The supporting staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri played a pivotal role in the smooth execution of the event, contributing to its resounding success.
