UDHAMPUR , Dec 7: KV No 1, Udhampur laid a historical stone by having its alumni meet, wherein alumni years, old students were welcomed with traditional touch by presenting flowers followed by Tilak ceremony.
The chief guest was Dr R Prasad who lighted ceremonial lamp. A melodious welcome song was sung by the student coir. Mrs Preeti Khajuria shared experiences of her school-time and invited rest of all ex-students to share their views.
After experiences and speeches of alumni members, Principal delivered his speech. A group photograph was taken. The alumni meet was concluded with vote of thanks by Vikramaditya PGT-Physics. The programme was well coordinated by Sanjay PGT-Hindi.
