JAMMU, Aug 11: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjuwan held a function in school premises, here today.
The event marked a significant milestone as the school honored its newly appointed student leaders, who will serve as torchbearers for the academic year 2023-24. The statement said the event fosters a sense of responsibility, integrity, and dedication among the young leaders, preparing them for future challenges.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest, Ramesh Kumar Rathee, Principal. He acknowledged the efforts of the outgoing student council for their commendable work during their tenure and encouraged the newly appointed leaders to carry forward the legacy of excellence.
The highlight of the ceremony was the conferring of the badges and sashes to the newly appointed student leaders. The Head Boy Praney Sharma and Head Girl Saanvi Singh along with their respective teams were presented with their badges of honour by the Principal. The student leaders took an oath, pledging to uphold the values and principles of the school, work tirelessly for the welfare of their peers, and serve as role models for the entire student body. Vice Principal, Rakesh Kumar also applauded the new team.
