UDHAMPUR, Nov 1: Annual Sports Day was celebrated in KV No-1, Udhampur, here today.
Ashok Kumar, former Deputy Director Youth Services and Sports and Director Sports SMVDSB was the guest of honour, while Sukhdev Singh District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Udhampur was present on the occasion.
Guests were received by Principal, Dr R.Prasad, Vice-Principal Basanti Khampa, Vikramaditya and Usha Koul. The flag hoisting was done by the chief guest on the ocasion. Welcome song and cultural programme was presented in this connection.

After the Flag March, Oath ceremony by the Sports Captain took place.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest stressed upon the students to participate with true spirit of sportsmanship in sports and allied events.
Sports day was celebrated by conducting various games like Balloon Race, Sack Race, Three Leg Race, Ball between Legs, Hurdle Race etc under the supervision of Sports In-charges Bhuvneshwar and Surrinder.
Programme was co-ordinated by Sanjay Purohit and Meenakshi Sharma. Prizes and Certificates were awarded to the winners on the occasion.
Vice-Principal, Basanti Khampa presented vote of thanks.
