JAMMU, Sept 28: Dr Banarsi Lal, senior scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Reasi, has been awarded with the “Best Scientist Award” by Education Expo TV.
As per a statement, the award was conferred upon Banarsi Lal during the 11th Academic Awards (AAA)-2023 ceremony, which took place in Mumbai, under the auspices of Education Expo TV (EET CRS).
Dr Banarsi Lal received for the Academic Achievement Award for his contributions in the field of agriculture.
Education Expo TV, the organizing body behind the award, is renowned for acknowledging the remarkable achievements of scientists, academicians, and institutions in the global arena of science and technology.
Dr Banarsi Lal’s selection for the prestigious award was the result of a rigorous evaluation process by the Academic Achievement Awards research panel.
They considered his illustrious career, taking into account factors such as his research publications, projects successfully undertaken, and technologies developed and disseminated.
Dr Banarsi Lal, originally from Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir, has devoted over 16 years to his service at KVK, Reasi, where he has played a pivotal role in empowering the farming community with cutting-edge agricultural techniques.
His dedication and expertise have earned him recognition not only on a regional level but also at the national and international levels through numerous accolades.
