JAMMU, Nov 7: Regional Level 40th Jawahar Lal Nehru Science Exhibition on the theme ‘Science and Society’ conducted at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjuwan, Jammu by NCER, concluded today.
In the exhibition 87 participants from 25 KVs of Jammu region put up a brilliant array of exhibit/modles on the theme Science and Society.
School Principal, TR Choudhary presided over the closing ceremony and distributed the certificates among the winners and other participants on the occasion.
Anant Bansal of KV No2, Jammu and Kamaljit Kaur, KV No1, Amritsar bagged the first and the IInd position in seminar respectively, while in quiz competition four students namely Shubam Sharda and Akash Deep Pathania of KV No 3, Pathankot and Satyam Kumar of KV No.1, Amritsar and Shubam Pandita of KV No1, Udhampur bagged Ist and IInd position respectively.
In the exhibits/model display Sub Theme Industry, Vishal Sharma, KV Bantalab, Natural Resource and Conservation-Seema Pradhan KV No 4,Pathankot,transport and communication Palak Sharma, KV No 1, Jammu, Community Health and Environment Nitish Kumar KV Miran Sahib, Information and Communication Samir Sharma, KV No 2, Jammu and in Mathematical Modeling, Meghna Jandan KV No1,Chamera clinched the Ist position.
The selected exhibits/models and the best students in seminar and quiz will proceed for further participation at National level. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by coordinator VP Sharma and Incharge Rajinder Sharma.
