JAMMU, Aug 28: 46th KVS Regional Sports Meet (U-19 Cricket Boys) ended with great enthusiasm and exhilaration in the School premises, here today.
164 players escorted by 18 teachers from 11different KVs of Jammu Region participated in this 4 day Meet.
Romi Amrit (Vice-Principal K.V, Bantalab) was the chief guest on the occasion.
After the welcome address, a beautiful cultural programme along with an impressive jumbled March Past by the participants marked the occasion
K.V No 1 Jammu under the captaincy of Master Rithik Tickoo won the Gold Medal while K.V Jyotipuram team & K.V Kishtwar team emerged as second & third rank holders and were awarded with Silver & Bronze medals respectively by the chief guest during the Prize Distribution Ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion CR Bhagat, chief guest congratulated the participants for their vigour, stamina & exuberant participation. He also emphasized the role of indomitable physique for the smooth functioning of the sound mind.
The programme ended with vote of thanks by Sriniwas Sharma-TGT PET-KV Bantalab.
