JAMMU, July 25: A 2-day workshop for Postgraduate Teachers (Biology) of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Jammu Region got underway at Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1, here today.
A V L J Rao, Deputy Commissioner, KVS, was the chief guest on the occasion, while JR Teachers from different KVs of Jammu region are taking part in this Workshop. Romi Amrit, Vice-Principal, KV Bantalab is the Course Director and Samrita Charak, Officiating Principal, KV Miran Sahib is the resource person.
The chief guest was welcomed by C R Bhagat, Principal, KV No 1, Jammu. The programme started with the recitation of Saraswati Vandana by Vidyalaya Children.
Different activities and discussions were held during the Workshop. These included Planning, Exhibition of Programmes for imparting training in the field of Academics. The teachers are undertaking various Projects and Assignments to work with the teams of identification of easy and scoring areas for Board Classes, Action Plan for Teachers for slow and bright bloomers, Scheme of evaluation, Investigatory Projects and activity plan etc.
While speaking on the occasion by A V L J Rao, emphasized on the importance of planning, monitoring and execution of various projects and plans for senior classes.
