JAMMU, July 2: A labourer was injured due to collapse of a wall of a ‘kuchha’ house in Gharota area on city outskirts.
According to a police official, the victim has been identified as Mulkh Raj (20) son of Kuldeep Raj, resident of Kheri. He said that the labourer was engaged in some construction work of a ‘kuchha’ house at village Sarod when one of the walls of the house suddenly collapsed on him.
The official said that the injured labourer was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor for treatment but after providing first aid doctors of the hospital referred him to GMC Jammu, where the condition of the victim is stated to be stable. “Gharota police had taken cognizance of the matter,” he added.
