SRINAGAR, Apr 11: A 25-year-old labourer was killed and another injured when a stone quarry caved in at Kohistan Colony in Safapora of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district today.
Officials said that a portion of the stone quarry collapsed around the afternoon which resulted in on the spot death of labourer Khurshed Ahmad Larwal, 25, son of Ghulam Hassan, resident of Kohistan
They said that another labourer Ghulam Nabi Larwal, 50, of Kondbal Safapora suffered injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
