RAJOURI, Sept 20: The dead body of a non-local labourer was found hanging from a tree in Sunderbani area in district Rajouri today.
The deceased has been identified as Ramshri (36 yrs), son of Sona Lal, resident of district Panna in Madhya Pradesh. The police said deceased was residing in a rented accommodation (Jhuggi), in Ward No. 7, Sunderbani town of district Rajouri (J&K).
Police further said Ramshri was residing in Sunderbani for the past many weeks. He was working as labourer at a nearby construction site. Today morning, his dead body was found hanging from a tree with the help of a rope, near the Jhuggis. The other families residing nearby, noticed him and informed police. Sunderbani police party shifted the body to Sub District Hospital, Sunderbani for postmortem. The police registered a case under section 174 CrPC and started investigation.
