Lachipura Hockey Club Kathua defeats MBS Hockey Club by 5-4

JAMMU, Mar 14: On the second day of Open Hockey Tournament at K K Hakku Stadium, Jammu Lachipura Hockey Club Kathua defeated MBS Hockey Club by 5-4.
Vikram Randhawa, former MLC and senior BJP leader was the Chief Guest on this occasion who emphasized the importance of involving youth in sports. Rajinder Singh (Former President Hockey India) was the guest of honour.
The match witnessed a fervent crowd, played between Lachipura Hockey Club Kathua and MBS Hockey Club which was won by Lachipur Hockey Club by 5-4. Both the teams showcased stellar performances, with excellent stick work.
Among others present on the occasion were G.S Bakshi, Rajinder Koul (Sr vice President Hockey J&K) , Daljeet Singh (Member Hockey J&K), Gurpreet Singh (Vice President Hockey J&K), Ishan Sharma (Treasurer Hockey J&K), Supinder deep Singh Bakshi (General Secretary Hockey J&K), Manjeet Singh and RP Sarna.
The match was officiated by Balmeet Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Iqbal Singh (NIS Hockey Coach J&K Police) & Ishtyak.
