JAMMU, Dec 21: Bishnah police arrested a lady along with 40 litres illicit liquor recovered and around 200 litres lahan.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station led by SHO Inspector Deepak Pathania apprehended a lady along with 40 litres of illicit liquor.
Around 200 litres lahan along with distillation equipment were recovered and destroyed on the spot.
The arrested lady has been identified as Poli Devi, wife of Kamal Kumar of Village Dhinday Khurd.
A case under FIR Number 224/19 48 (a), (e), (f) of the Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation initiated.
