KATHUA, June 27: One lady was killed after the bike on which she was traveling along with her husband was hit by a car on Billawar -Mandli road today.
She has been identified as Renu Devi, wife of Sadhu Ram of Mandli Billawar. Police said that the lady and her husband were on their way to Mandli from Billawar when a car hit them. The lady was seriously injured in the accident and shifted to SDH Billawar for first aid. Later she was referred to GMC Jammu for treatment but she succumbed to her injuries at the gate of GMC. Her dead body has been kept in mortuary of GMC for post mortem which will be conducted tomorrow.
The Billawar Police has registered a case under Section 237/304 in this regard said SHO Billawar Vijay Kumar.
