*DPS Leh remains runners-up

LEH, May 30: Lamdon Model Higher Secondary School Leh girls Football team won the title trophy, while Delhi Public School Leh remained runners-up in the Inter-School Football Tournament, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Leh, here.
Almost all the Higher Secondary Schools of Leh both Private and Govt. participated in the event, in which both the finalists displayed good game to enter the summit clash.
In the title clash, Lamdon Model Higher Secondary School Leh outplayed DPS Leh by a solitary goal in a close contest to win the title.
Morover, the DPS students blossomed in the Athletic Meet also. Asma Shafi of 11th class got Bronze Medals in 100 and 200 metres races, while Tsewang Stanzin clinched Gold Medal in the Shot Put by covering a distance of 41.05feet.
Principal of DPS Leh, Subhash Kumar Baldotra in the Special Assembly applauded the efforts of the students for their good show in Inter-School Tournaments.
