Last rites of martyred BSF ASI performed with full state honours

Bhagalpur (Bihar): Last rites ceremony of ASI BK Yadav, who lost his life in terrorist attack on BSF Camp in J&K's Srinagar.

BHAGALPUR: The last rites of Border Security Force (BSF) ASI Braj Kishore Yadav who was martyred in a terror attack were performed on the bank of Uttar Vahini Ganga at Kahalgaon in this district today.
A pall of gloom descended when the martyred BSF ASI`s son Abhishek lit the pyre as people raised slogans like “Shaheed Braj Kishore Amar Rahe”.
The funeral procession of Mr Yadav, which started from his native Kamaldah village under Pirpaiti police station area was joined by a large number of people.
Earlier, jawans of BSF and district police reversed their firearms and played sombre music at the cremation ground.
People paid their last respects to martyred BSF ASI by maintaining silence for two minutes.
Congress legislative party leader and local MLA Sadanand Singh, former union minister and BJP leader Syed Shahnabaz Hussain, Bhagalpur divisional commissioner Rajesh Kumar, IG Sushil Khopde and senior administrative and police officers were present on the occasion.
Mr Yadav was martyred in a terror attack in Kashmir on October 3. (AGENCIES)
