Lawrence School joins Save Tiger Campaign

JAMMU, July 29: Lawrence Public School, junior wing joined the Save Tiger Campaign on World Tiger Day, here today.
The students presented a skit with a theme Save Forest to Save Tigers.
A very different painting competition was also held in which students painted each other’s faces as Tigers. The theme of the competition was to know the Tiger & create awareness among the children about saving Tigers.
Teachers and students evinced keen interest in participating in the art competition.
Rajni Dutta, Coordinator, Lawrence Public School lauded the efforts of  Rajni Jagpal and Mr Bobby for helping the students to organize this event.
She said that there is no dearth of government policies on saving tiger but such policies have to be implemented strictly to ensure saving wild animals in the state.
The main purpose of this event was to create awareness about the conservation of tigers for the future generations, so that children could understand the sensitivity attached to the loss of tigers in the country.
