JAMMU, Jan 23: The students of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi won 1st prize in Inter- School English Extemporary Declamation Competition and 2nd prize in Inter-School Hindi Extemporary Declamation Competition held at JK Montessori School, under the aegis of Youth Talent Search Forum.
Students from 10 reputed School of Jammu participated in this Inter-School Extemporary Declamation Competition.
The topics for the English Declamation & Hindi Declamation were, ‘Social media is a leading cause of victimisation in society’ and ‘Charitra Hi Dharam ka Mool hai’.
Ajaz Hussain of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi secured the first prize in the Inter-School English Extemporary Declamation Competition, whereas Vansh Baru of Lawrence Public School, Panjtirthi secured second prize in the Inter-School Hindi Extemporary Declamation Competition.
The students were judged on the basis of their content, expression, gestures, pronunciation and confidence.
Tejinder Kaur, Vice-Principal and Rajni Dutta, Coordinator of the School, lauded the efforts of the students and teachers Kanchan Raina and Pooja Sharma.
