JAMMU, Apr 9: Lawyers Annual Sports Meet was at full swing on day-2, here today.
The first match was played between Legal Hawks and Legal Riders, in which Legal Hawks after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 92 runs in 10 overs. Ankit was the top scorer with 50 runs and Rajan Radhey contributed 10 runs. Sidharth took 2 wickets.
Chasing the target, Legal Riders scored 93 runs. Bhanu was the highest scorer with 53 runs, Nikash scored 23 runs. Rajan took 1 wicket. Legal Riders won the match by 9 wickets.
The second match was played between Golden Heartz XI and Royal XI, in which Golden Heartz after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 97 runs in 10 overs. Lovanya and Arvind Khajuria were the highest scorers with 22 runs each, while Ranjit scored 20 runs. Aditya took 3 wickets and Rohit Gupta claimed 1 wicket.
Chasing the target, Royal XI scored 98 runs. Rahul was the top scorer with 38 runs, while Pankaj chipped in with 23 runs. Ranjeet and Arvind Khajuria claimed 1 wicket each. Royal XI won the match with 7 wickets.
The third match was played between Carbeans XI and Nasir XI, in which Carbeans XI after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 127 runs in the quota of 10 overs. Usman was the highest scorer with 46 runs each, while Satwant contributed 31 runs. Nadeem Mirza, M.S. Qureshi and Ravinder claimed 1 wicket each.
Chasing the target, Nasir XI scored 83 runs. Varun was the top scorer with 35 runs, while Bhanu Singh Bandral scored 17 runs. Sidharth and Usman took 1 wicket each. Carbaens XI won the match by 43 runs.
The fourth match was played between Paradise XI and Dogra XI, in which Paradise XI after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 122 runs in the quota of 12 Overs. Vikash was the highest scorer with 47 runs, Sahil Aggarwal scored 26 runs and Guru Pratap Singh scored 21 runs. Nitin Gupta took 2 wickets, while Surinder Chib and Ashwani took 1 each for Dogra XI. In reply, Dogra XI bundled out for 80 runs. Sandeep Slathia was the top scorer with 28 runs, while Munish Choudhary scored 19 runs to the total. Sahil Aggarwal took 3 wickets,while Ajay Singh Manhas and Amit Chadha claimed 2 wickets each. Paradise XI won the match by 42 runs.
The fifth match was played between Golden Heartz XI and Great Warriors, in which Golden Heartz XI after winning the toss chose to bat first and scored 51 runs 6 overs. Arvind Khajuria was the top scorer with 22 runs and SK Shukla scored 16 runs. Deepak took 2 wickets, while Rohit claimed 1 wicket for Great Warriors.
Chasing the target, Great Warriors scored 55 runs by losing 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Dinesh scored 29 runs, while Sahil Gupta made 16 runs. Senior Advocate Sunil Sethi took 1 wicket.
