JAMMU, Apr 3: Premier Club namely Laxmi Cricket Club held an Annual General Body Meeting at it office at Parade ground, here today.
The meeting was attended by almost all the members of the club who discussed the activities and achievements along with the short comings of the club, before electing new office bearers.
Senior Ranji Trophy Player Harsh Nayyar was the observer of the election.
The General Body unanimously elected Dr Anil K. Mahajan as its President, Pawan Gupta as Chairman, Vijay Sabarwal as General Secretary, S Amarjeet Singh as Secretary and Kapil Dev Mahajan as Treasurer.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mahajan and Mr Gupta assured the members that the club will boost its young players and will participate in more and more cricket tournaments.
They further announced that the club will organise veteran and open cricket tournaments in collaboration with Parade Sports Association at Parade Ground soon.
