Jammu, Dec 21: Lupin Cricket Club defeated Greater Kashmir Cricket Club by 15 runs in a friendly T-20 cricket match played at Smailpur stadium here.
LCC after winning the toss opted to bat first and posted a testing 160 runs target on the scoreboard at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Pravesh scored highest 64 runs in 36 balls, while Minanshu scored 34 in 44 balls. For GKCC Akash, Yash, and Rahul shared a wicket each.
While chasing the target GKCC had a disparaging start with their top order batsmen displayed some irresponsible shots selection as GKCC were at 23 for 2 after five overs. Akash 44 runs off 32 runs played some big hit as GKCC somehow regained the asking rate in control; he was ably followed by Rahul 38 runs off 18 balls. LCC showed some handy stuff in the death overs and bundled out the GKCC 15 runs short of the target.
For LCC Pradeep and Radhesham clinched 2 wickets each. For scoring 64 runs and a wicket Pravesh from LCC was adjudged as the man of the match.
