NEW DELHI, July 13: Lead prices eased by 0.75 per cent to Rs 112.85 per kg in futures trade today in tandem with a weakening trend in base metals at the London Metal Exchange.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in July was trading 85 paise, or 0.75 per cent down at Rs 112.85 per kg in a business turnover of 706 lots.
The metal for delivery August also fell by 80 paise, or 0.73 per cent, to Rs 113.70 per kg with a business volume of 24 lots.
Marketmen said a weak trend in base metals pack at the London Metal Exchange and subdued demand at domestic spot markets from battery makers put pressure on lead futures here. (PTI)
