Leader of JRG Rajesh Padha blossoms at Tuffman

JAMMU, June 26: Architect of Jammu Runners Group (JRG), Rajesh Padha along with a group of six men and three children blossomed at the prestigious 4th Edition of Tuffman Shimla Ultra Run, the world’s toughest trail in Shimla on the other day.
Mr Padha completed 50 kilometers, which included just 10 kilometers of road running and the rest of 40 kilometers on tumpy bumpy hills and mountains, with an elevation gain of 6000 feet.
The other runners of JRG included Harinder Pal Singh Ricky (30 kms), Moninder Jit Singh Sarna (20 kms), Sharish Gupta (20 kms), Sandeep Singh Sunny (20 kms) and Vikrant Sharma (20 kms).
Tuffkid of 4 kilometers was also held wherein JRG kids Prahbir Singh, Gur Ashish Singh and Ravi Singh Sarna sparkled by completing the run successfully.
The Tuffman Shimla Ultra began from Mashobra Green (16 kilometers from Shimla) and after passing through many hilly villages culminated at the same place.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jammu Runners Group, though is bringing laurels to the State, time and again, yet this achievement was a unique one.
“It is termed to be the toughest trail in the world. It was simply a proud moment for all of us (JRG) to be part of this event. Completing it in a great fashion make you to feel ecstatic,” expressed Mr Padha.
