JAMMU, Mar 19: The Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, organized a lecture on the `Concept of Social Exclusion and Inclusion in Jammu and Kashmir’, here today.
Dr Mohita Bhatia, Assistant Professor, Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy, JNU, New Delhi, delivered the lecture, which was attended by the Professors and Research Scholars of the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Jammu.
Dr Mohita Bhatia traced out the origin of the concept of Exclusion, Exclusion at various levels, Social Exclusion with reference to Jammu and Kashmir and discussed the multiple layers of Exclusion. She also explained the methodology for the research on the concept in the State.
The lecture was followed by a discussion during which queries of the Research Scholars were well responded by the speaker.
