Leh delegation meets Sagar, highlights various problems

JAMMU, Jan 28: National Conference general secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar described the implementation of National Food Security Act as anti-people. He added that this will deprive a huge chunk of rationees of much needed rations in Jammu and Kashmir.
Interacting with a deputation of Ladakh, which called on him at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhavan here, Mr Sagar shared their concern over the inept decision of the PDP-BJP Government and said due to lack of vision that dispensation put the people in numerous difficulties.
The delegation also brought to the notice of the general secretary issue regarding air-services, saying that due to inadequate facilities the people of the landlocked area were facing problems, especially during emergencies.
The delegation discussed in detail the problems confronted to Ladakh based students in Jammu and sought immediate intervention to solve these.
Sagar assured that the points raised by the delegation would be taken up at appropriate level so that the affected people get some respite.
The delegation comprised P. Wangdan, President Lower Leh, Mr Nazir Ahmad Khan senior vice president, Nisar Hussain joint secretary, Mohd Usman Treasurer, Mohd Sidiq member WC and Mohammad  Ismail member WC.
