SRINAGAR, July 13: Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT) Lt Governor Manoj Sinha condoled the sudden demise of 1983 cricket world cup winning team member Yashpal Sharma who died due to cardiac arrest today.
Sinha said he was saddened by the demise of Sharma who was a cricket legend and devoted his whole life for Indian Cricket.
He said his achievement will always be the source of inspiration for sports enthusiasts.
In a tweet LG Sinha said, Saddened by the demise of Shri Yashpal Sharma ji. He was a cricket legend who devoted his whole life for Indian cricket & was a part of 1983 world cup winning team.

The former Indian cricketer passed away today after suffering a massive cardiac arrest. He was 66. Sharma is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
